Pismo’s Coastal Grill, Fresno, CA

I finally found the most delectable and freshest seafood joint PISMO’S COASTAL GRILL in Fresno, CA. Move over, Red Lobster! I took my family to lunch on New Year’s Eve lunch. I made reservations for 5 at 12.30pm and was seated in 10 minutes. So far so good.  We ordered the following dishes:

Steamed Manilla Clams or Pacific Mussels,garlic-wine-butter, dipping toast.  large $14.99
Huge juicy clams soaked in rich yummy garlicky broth,  even my 12 year old niece loved it!

Pismo’s Famous Stuffed Sourdough Round – with garlic & herbs $2.99. Crunchy on the outside, soft fluffy inside – we dipped it in the manila clam broth.

Chilled and marinated Dungeness Crab from Pismo’s  patented Crab–O-Matic  10 ounce $13.99 
The crab came soaked in the most delicious marinade ever, not too sour or sweet, just right! Every piece of crab meat I wrangled out, fulll of robust flavor of good herbs and citrusy lemon to it. I used both hands to eat. Be prepare to make a mess. The best ever! I will not go back to the boring steamed crabs. This cold crab  dish is to die for, literally! I trying ordering togo the next few days, no can do yet! Suffering succotash! They don’t have the right container for togo.

Jumbo Prawns – grilled with scampi butter $13.99 – JUICY done just right.
Pilaf and Blue Lake Green Beans-I love my vegies now!

Halibut – grilled. Pilaf and Steamed Veggies $13.99, fish done right, soft and heavenly.

Kobe Beef  Ribs. Pilaf and Steamed Veggies   $17.99. Meat falls off the bones!

Overall, food was EXCELLENT – perfect 10! Our server, Jerica was attentive, fast and great! Ambience is family friendly.
